When a lead calls, how that unfolds should be divided into individual steps and each step should be entered as a separate activity:
Step 1. The lead calls and you chat
a. Click on Add an Activity
b. Record the call on the right in the Complete an Activity area and enter your notes about the content of the call below.
Step 2. You send them a Marketing Packet
a. Click on Add an Activity again.
b. Record the details in the Complete an Activity area and include your notes about what you sent them in the Notes field.
Step 3. Schedule your follow-up activity
a. Click again on Add an Activity for that third step while the call is still fresh in your mind.
Enter your follow-up plans in Schedule an Activity, which is on the left side. Include the details below in the Notes field.
